Maldives Innovation and Digital Company, (MINDCO) has said the OneGov platform now provides over 400 services and more than 300 public information items from 23 government agencies.
According to MINDCO’s Managing Director Saeeda Umar, the government working to further streamline the services offered through the platform.
The OneGov platform is designed as a one-stop digital portal that brings government services from multiple institutions into a single system. It was originally launched in 2023, starting with services from five agencies, mainly focused on business-related services. While the number of participating agencies later increased to 26, it has since been adjusted to 23 due to changes in the government’s administrative structure.
Saeeda said the government aims to significantly expand the platform, with a target of bringing around 70 percent of government services onto the platform this year, as well as delivering 40 percent of local council services through OneGov.
