The Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development , Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, has arrived in the Maldives on an official visit.
The SFD CEO is visiting the Maldives for a three-day official trip, the Ministry of Finance and Public Enterprises said. The ministry added that a number of official meetings are scheduled to take place during the visit.
Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad has previously visited the Maldives on several occasions. In recognition of the value of the assistance provided by the Saudi Fund for Development towards the development of the Maldives, the Maldivian government conferred upon him the honour of the Order of the Distinguished Rule of Muleege last year.
The Saudi Fund for Development has been a consistent partner in supporting the Maldives’ infrastructure development projects. To date, more than 40 projects across various parts of the Maldives have been carried out with assistance from the Saudi Fund.
