Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim have discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly in tourism and higher education.
The Vice President held a courtesy call with the Malaysian prime minister at Niva Kurumba Maldives on Tuesday morning during Prime Minister Anwar’s state visit to the Maldives.
Vice President Latheef welcomed Prime Minister Anwar to the Maldives and reaffirmed the longstanding ties between the two countries.
The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in key areas of mutual interest, including tourism and higher education.
Prime Minister Anwar is visiting the Maldives at the invitation of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu.
