Emirates to continue supporting the export of Maldivian fish

District manager of Emirates, Darrell Soetsz has said that the airlines will continue supporting the export of Maldivian fish.

Speaking at a function held at the VIP Lounge of Velana International Airport to celebrate the 30 years of operations to the Maldives, Daryl Storz said that emirates will continue supporting the fish industry and transporting fish products through their SkyCargo service. He highlighted the current services of exporting consignments of edible as well as live tropical fish.

Speaking at the function, Managing Director of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) Adil Moosa noted the assistance provided by Emirates to the Tourism and Economic sector of Maldives.

MACL carried out several activities to celebrate 30 years of services of Emirates to Maldives.

Emirates started its operations with only two trips to Maldives per week, but now it operates four trips per day.
