The Civil Aviation Authority of United Kingdom has concluded the surveys relating to conducting helicopters operations in the Maldives.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Maldives revealed that the survey was conducted from August 6 to 11 and the results would be revealed within upcoming three months. The Maldives Civil Aviation Authority revealed that the report would provide findings on the feasibility of resuming helicopter operations in the country. The Authority also revealed that the survey will reveal the safest methods on helicopter operations in the Maldives.
It has been 15 years since the termination of commercial helicopters operation in the Maldives due to two major helicopter accidents.
