PSM assures commitment to honoring services by exemplary citizens

Deputy Managing Director of Public Service Media (PSM) Mohamed Ikram Abdul Latheef has assured that PSM remains committed to celebrating services rendered to the nation by exemplary citizens, without letting their memories fade away.  

Ikram made the statement while addressing the ceremony held to release a book published to honor the services of sate dignitary, the late Abdul Sattar Moosa Didi. He stated that it is of great concern that the services of great exemplary citizens have not been archived in a way that future generations can bear witness to their prominence.

Ikram stated that PSM has now shouldered the responsibility of archiving such services in order to make it accessible for future generations. Deputy Managing Director Ikram further revealed that to coincide with 50th  Republic Day celebrations, PSM would unveil a special documentary, commemorating former President of Maldives late Ibrahim Nasir.

He concluded his speech by stating that utmost importance must be given to delivering such valuable knowledge to future generations and stated that PSM requires the cooperation of the Dhivehi Language Academy to achieve this goal.
