Newly appointed Thai Ambassador calls on Foreign Minister

The newly appointed non-resident Ambassador of Thailand to the Maldives, Chulamanee Chartsuwan pays a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Asim.

At the meeting held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both Minister Asim and the Ambassador discussed ways to strengthen close bilateral ties, especially on enhancing people-to-people contact between the two countries. Minister Asim and Ambassador Chartsuwan expressed their confidence that the friendly relations between the two countries would continue.

Furthermore, the Ambassador also paid a call on Foreign Secretary of Maldives, Ahmed Sareer. At the meeting held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Foreign Secretary and the Ambassador discussed enhancing cooperation in the areas of education, trade and investment between the two countries.
