State Minister of Ministry of Education, Dr. Abdulla Nazeer has stated that the educational opportunities provided by Malaysian government is credited to the close relationship between the two countries.
Highlighting the close bond the Malaysian government shares with the Maldivian students and their families in Malaysia, State Minister Dr. Abdulla Nazeer stated that both governments have worked together to ensure a leisure stay for them in Malaysia.
The State Minister noted that over 1800 Maldivian students are currently attaining higher education in Malaysia. In this regard, State Minister stated that a special delegation from Malaysia arrived in Maldives which paved for various scholarship opportunities for Maldivians.
Meanwhile, Education Ministry is gearing up to conduct an education expo, in collaboration with Malaysia Global Service on December 27.
