Health Protection Agency (HPA) has adviced to take preventive measures against dengue fever to minimise the risk of any outbreaks.
In a statement issued, HPA highlighted that January is recorded as a month cases of dengue increase and expressed that the agency is taking special measures to prevent dengue outbreaks. In this regard, HPA mentioned that it is working to establish a better system to identify dengue fever before the condition worsens.
Furthermore, HPA reiterated the importance of taking individuals responsibilities to control dengue. HPA advised the public to empty stagnant water from containers, throw trash into dustbins, and keep containers sealed to prevent water from collecting.
