Sate Trading Organisation (STO) has hiked the prices of petrol and diesel sold from the company.
As per the latest development, USD 0.035 per litre and USD 0.052 per litre would be hiked from the prices of petrol and diesel respectively. With the changes, a petrol litre and a diesel litre would be sold for USD 0.676.
STO revealed that the hiked price is caused due to the inflation of global price of petroleum products. Diesel prices have soared to a record globally while petrol is at three-year high as international crude oil prices hover around USD 70 a barrel.
