President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent a message of condolence to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, following the crash of Russian airliner Flight SOV703 near Moscow, resulting in the tragic loss of many innocent lives.
In the message, the President stated that he received news of the crash of Russian airliner with deep shock and sadness. President Yameen extended profound sympathy to the President, the government and the people of Russia on behalf of the government and the people of Maldives at this time of national grief.
President Yameen also conveyed heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved families.
