Male' Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) has revealed it is conducting a feasibility study in its effort to widen their bottled water services to international market. The bottling factory of MWSC received the ISO 22000:2005 and HACCP food safety quality management certificates accredited by an independent body of Switzerland.

At the ISO 22000:2005 and HACCP Food Safety Quality Management System Certificate Awarding Ceremony, Managing Director of MWSC Fazul Rasheed spoke on the efforts of the company to widen its services to international market. The main aim of achieving the certificates are to assure the qualities of services are maintained according to international best practices, he added.
Minister of Health Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim stated the importance of accepting and appreciating the services rather than highlighting the services not available, addressing the ceremony as chief guest. The achievements of MWSC prove the quality of the services and the improvements made in the past few years, adding that when monitored by an international firm the staff become more responsible, highlighted the Health Minister.

The certificates were awarded by Business Manager of SGS Certification Agency Chamika Wimalasiri and received by Managing Director of MWSC.
