Ministry of Defence and National Security has revealed plans to formulate a regulation in handling of weapons banned in Maldives.
The Defence Ministry said the institution is currently working to formulate a regulation specifically for the handling of weapons used for security on international ships which passes through Maldivian waters.
Moreover, Defence Ministry has being drafting important laws and regulations aimed to enhance the security and sovereignty of the country.
