President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent a congratulatory message to the new Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali on his election to office.
In his message, President Yameen conveyed warm congratulations and sincere well wishes as the Prime Minister of Ethiopia assume office on behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives. The President expressed delight as Ethiopia is entering new era under new Prime Minister’s able leadership, both nationally and internationally, and expressed hope that the people of Ethiopia will achieve great success and prosperity under the able direction of the new Prime Minister.
The President said he hopes working closely with you and your Government, towards a stronger relationship between two countries and in addressing common global challenges.
