Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohamed Asim has concluded the official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the visit, Foreign Minister Dr. Asim met his Bosnian counterpart, Igor Crnadak. At the meeting, both ministers discussed a wide range of issues including strengthening people to people contact, enhancing tourism cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina, formalising the cooperation between the two Foreign Ministries through a memorandum of understanding and appointing honorary consuls, with a view to further enhancing the ties of friendship and understanding that exist between the two countries. The Ministers also discussed important multilateral issues of mutual concern and agreed to cooperate more closely in the international fora, especially at the United Nations.
Moreover, Foreign Minister Asim was warmly welcomed by Mayor of the City of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Abdulah Skaka, and was given a tour of the historical city hall museum and the old town.
