Bank of Maldives (BML) has modernised the Banking Centre in Eydhafushi of Baa Atoll to a Self Service premise with new facilities. The new facilities will support local individuals and businesses to make deposits, payments and transfers on a 24/7 basis, according to BML.
The inauguration of the investments of the national bank took place at a special ceremony in Eydhafushi which was attended by customers, local residents, business owners and community leaders. To mark the occasion, the meeting of the Bank's Board of Directors for the month of April was held in the new branch premises.
The bank is delighted to support the community of Eydhafushi with the new branch and Self Service Banking Centre, CEO and Managing Director of BML Andrew Healy said speaking at the ceremony. Noting that Eydhafushi is a business and economic hub in the atoll, Andrew Healy assured the investments will therefore not only benefit the people and businesses of the island but also those in neighboring islands.
With a nationwide network of 34 branches across all 20 atolls, 35 Self Service Banking Centres, 95 ATMs, 5,000 Point of Sale merchants, 230 agents and a full suite of Digital Banking services, BML is committed to supporting individuals, businesses and communities across Maldives.
