Rector of Islamic University of Madinah Dr. Hatim bin Al Marzuki has toured Islamic University of Maldives (IUM) and Arabiyya School and met the senior managements of these educational institutions.
In the meetings, Dr. Hatim bin Al Marzuki enquired about the activities and the functioning of these institutions. In addition, Dr. Hatim bin Al Marzuki met and interacted with students and staff of the first and the one and only Arabic Medium school, Arabiyya School and IUM. Furthermore, Dr. Marzuki also visited the National Museum of Maldives.
During his visit to the Maldives, Dr. Hatim bin Al Marzuki signed a memorandum of understanding with IUM on behalf of Islamic University of Madinah to strengthen the relationship between Saudi Arabia and Maldives. The collaboration will promote shared programmes that could benefit the two universities, particularly enhancing the scientific and educational links through exchange of scientific and teaching experiences, academic programmes, publications, academic expertise, and academic supervision on academic programmes.
