Ministry of Economic Development has revealed plans to conduct various activities for small and medium-sized enterprises throughout the year.
The Ministry has arranged various activities focused to develop the small and medium-sized business sector of the country, Managing Director of Business Centre at the Economic Ministry Ahmed Mumthaz said speaking with PSM News. Noting the participation in China Kunming Fair will also benefit small and medium-sized enterprises, Ahmed Mumthaz said the aim is to boost the outreach of Maldivian businesses. The Ministry is also working to introduce new loan schemes, marketing events, financial forums and other activities, further noted Mumthaz.
The financial forums held across the country are very popular among businesses, according to the Economic Ministry.
