President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has met the first PhD graduates from Maldives National University (MNU). The first PhD graduates of MNU, Dr. Sunaina Rasheed and Dr. Aishath Ali were awarded PhDs in education.
During the meeting, President Yameen appreciated their services to Maldives. The President urged to uphold the values of Islam and put forth patriotism above all. Furthermore, the President adviced to maintain internal values of the country and to never pave way for foreign intervention in internal matter of the country. On conclusion, President Yameen congratulated Dr. Sunaina Ali and Dr. Aishath Ali on their achievement and wished for a prosperous future ahead.
The meeting was attended by Chancellor of MNU Dr. Mohamed Latheef.
