First lady begins tour of Thaa Atoll as part of her national social campaign

First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim has begun a three-day tour of Thaa Atoll, as part of her national social campaign. The First Lady is scheduled to visit 9 islands of the atoll, as part of the tour.
On the first day of the tour, the First Lady visited islands Vilifushi, Madifushi and Guraidhoo where she received a warm welcome from residents of the islands. During the visit, she interacted with children, women and people with disabilities and staff of governmental authorities and enquired about the living condition of the citizens in the islands.
The First Lady is accompanied by cabinet ministers, parliamentarians and other government officials during her tour.
