First Lady of Maldives Fathimath Ibrahim has concluded her tour of Thaa Atoll, as part of her national social campaign.
During the trip, First Lady met with children, women and people with disabilities and staff of government authorities on the islands. She also enquired about the general living condition of the citizens in the islands.
The First Lady commenced the national social campaign in 2017. During the social campaign, the First Lady has held meetings with citizens to listen to their greivance, with priority given for the disabled and the elderly in the communities.
On the first two days of the tour of Thaa Atoll, she visited the islands of Vilifushi, Madifushi, Guraidho, Gaadhifushi, Dhiyamigili and Veymandoo. The First Lady visited the islands of Thimarafushi, Kimbidhoo and Hirilandhoo on Saturday.
