The Third Food and Beverage show has commenced with the participation of 12 companies. The show organised by High Rise Private Limited is one of the biggest F&B shows held in Maldives.
Opening the event, Vice President of Maldives National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) Ismail Asif said the increased amount of business shows and other related events prove the economy of the Maldives is at its peak. Five such events were held within a month, revealing the night market organised by MNCCI will also be held this month, noted Vice President of MNCCI.
Speaking regarding the F&B show, General Manager of High Rise Private Limited Mohamed Shamin Ali said one main aim of the event is to promote products and services of the industry.
The event brings together industry professionals, suppliers and buyers in an exclusive setting that aims to create more opportunities for business expansion.
The show attracts domestic and international attendees from hotels, guesthouses, yachts, restaurants, food service consultants, manufacturing agents, brokers, distributors, equipment manufacturers and culinary experts.
With the rapid growth in tourism, the food and beverage industry too has observed an expansion in recent years.
