First Lady concludes Fuvahmulah tour

First Lady of Maldives, Fathimath Ibrahim has successfully concluded her Fuvahmulah city tour undertaken as part of her national social campaign.

The First lady, Fathimath Ibrahim received a warm welcome from the citizens of Fuvahmulah city. The four day tour to Fuvahmulah city was undertaken as part of the national social campaign. During the trip, the First Lady visited all wards of Fuvahmulah city.

First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim held separate meetings with the youth and government officials, in addition to the elderly and people with special needs, where she discussed means to ease the difficulties faced by the citizens.

Furthermore, the First Lady attended a special gathering held by Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) and delivered her maiden speech at a political gathering.

The First Lady was accompanied by the Speaker of Parliament, Abdulla Maseeh Mohamed, Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Moosa Manik, Minister of Economic Development, Mohamed Saeed, Minister of Environment and Energy, Thoriq Ibrahim and other senior officials of the government.

First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim inaugurated her national social campaign in 2017. The First Lady and her team have been conducting a number of campaigns in which the First Lady, has been holding meetings with the citizens to hear their opinions and complaints. Holding sessions, especially to meet the disabled and the elderly, has been a priority during her national social campaign.
