Vice Chief of MNDF departs to Pakistan for 4th staff talks

Vice Chief of Defence Force Brigadier General Ahmed Shahid has departed to Pakistan to participate in the Fourth Staff Talks between Maldives and Pakistan Armed Forces.
The purpose of staff talks is to enhance military and security ties between Pakistan and Maldives and to further develop the Maldivian military. The talks will be held May 10 and 11 in the Joint Staff Headquarters in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.
Along with Vice Chief of Defence Force, Principle Director of International Defence Corporation and Policy Colonel Abdul Matheen Ahmed, Principle Director of Operations and Training Lieutenant Colonel Ismail Naseer, Maldives Defense Advisor to Pakistan Lieutenant Colonel Ibrahim Hilmy will be attending the fourth staff talks between Maldives and Pakistan.
