Minister of Home Affairs Azleen Ahmed has stated Maldives has made remarkable achievements in terms of information communication technology. The Home Minister made the remarks in his official statement on telecommunication and information society day.
The administration has been working on bringing major changes to the information technology sector of the country, Minister Azleen noted in the statement. The remarkable changes brought to the education sector by increasing the usage of technology in the sector, highlighted the Home Minister, adding that all sectors benefit from the latest technological facilities available in Maldives.
May 17 is marked as the telecommunication and information society day every year. The theme for this year is enabling the Positive use of artificial intelligence for all.
