Ministry of Finance and Treasury has announced to seek parties to develop 500 housing units in 6 islands under the social housing scheme of government.
Finance Ministry opened bidding for locals and foreigners interested in constructing the housing units which are developed in design, build and contractor finance system. 200 housing units are to be built in Gan, 100 housing units in Eydhafushi and 50 housing units in the remaining four islands, according to Finance Ministry.
Moreover, the Ministry revealed a non-refundable registration fee must be paid to take part in bidding, adding payments will be accepted before May 30.
