Elections Commission of Maldives has revealed the eligible voters list for the presidential election will be published by June 15.
The commission was unable to issue the list this month due to a delay in confirming the venues the ballot boxes will be placed, President of Elections Commission Ahmed Shareef said speaking to PSM News. Highlighting that individuals over 18 years of age will be included in the list, Shareef said there are difficulties to finalise the list as an election date has not yet been finalised.
However, he assured the presidential election will be held in September.
