Maldives Post assigned as a subsidiary company of Island Aviation

Privatisation and Corporatisation Board has assigned Maldives Posts Limited as a subsidiary company of Island Aviation Services Limited.
A news statement publicised by Privatisation Board said the government of Maldives has amended the shareholder structure of two 100 percent government owned companies, Island Aviation and Maldives Post.
Following these changes Maldives Post Limited will be a subsidiary company of Island Aviation, which will be holding 99% share, with Maldives Airports Company (MACL) holding the remaining one% of share, according to the board.
This will also change the works conducted by Post Office, rights bestowed by law and goods carried by the company, according to Privatisation Board.
