Expenses of President's Office in 2017 followed Public Finance Act

Auditor General's Office has revealed all expenses of President's Office in 2017 were carried out within the laws and regulations of Public Finance Act of Maldives.
All expenses of President's Office and presidential residences of Muliaage’ and Hilaaleege’ achieved the objectives of state budget, according to Audit Report 2017 of President's Office.
In the financial report of President's Office, the Auditor General's Office noted a budget of over USD 9.3 million was allocated for President's Office, in which almost USD 9 million were spent throughout the year resulting in a saving of almost USD 300,000 by the end of last year.
