Maldives Marketing and Pubic Relation Corporation (MMPRC) has opened opportunity to submit applications to participate in the World Travel Market (WTM) to be held from November 5-7.
A circular released by MMPRC said interested individuals and parties can submit applications until June 28. Maldives have participated in WTM numerous times throughout the years.
WTM is a UK based event for the global travel industry, launched at London's Olympia in 1980. Almost 50,000 senior travel industry professionals, government ministers and representatives of the international media, converge on ExCeL London each year in November to attend WTM. The fair will be a great opportunity to network with well-known travel agents from across the globe and to promote Maldives as a tourist destination.
Europe contributes the largest number of tourists to the Maldivian tourism industry, with a 12.4 percent increase recorded in arrivals in 2017.
