President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim have attended the opening ceremony of Rasrani Winter Park. The park is the first of its kind ever built in Maldives and was inaugurated by the First Lady.
Upon the inauguration of the Rasrani Winter Park, President Abdulla Yameen and the First Lady took a tour of the park and met the children and families enjoying various activities at the park. The Rasrani Winter Park includes an Olympic grade ice-skating rink and a snow slide.
The President and the First Lady were accompanied by Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, and other senior officials of the Administration.
