High Rise Private limited has started to evaluate the nominations for South Asia Travel Award (SATA).
SATA is the first ever regional awards endorsed by multinational associations providing the tourism sector of the south Asian region with recognition towards their facilities and service excellence. Moreover, SATA is the most prestigious travel award in the region. This year, 500 corporations from the hospitality sector have been nominated for the award.
The evaluation will continue in capital of Maldives, Male’ city, until June 21, according to High Rise. Further evaluations will be held in Sri Lankan capital, Colombo, Indian cities of Bangalore, Delhi, Paro in Bhutan, and Kathmandu of Nepal.
SATA will be divided into 50 different categories and corporations with the highest number of votes and marks from the judges will compete for the awards. Online voting is open till the end of the month.
The awarding ceremony was first held in Sri Lanka in 2016 and was held in Maldives last year. This year's SATA ceremony will be held in the Indian city of Mumbai.
