Home Ministry urges to stop rumors that effect national stability

Ministry of Home Affairs urges to refrain from spreading rumours which will undermine the safety and security of the country.
Responding to an interview by former Foreign Minister Ahmed Naseem to "The Tribune" of India, Home Ministry advised to stop all rumours that will destabilise the good relationship with Maldives and other countries. In a statement issued, the Home Ministry also dismissed the interview of former Foreign Minister as undermining the relationship with countries Maldives has established relations with.
Furthermore, Home Ministry assured the government of Maldives will always protect national security and will never act in a way that will affect the national stability of any other country.
