Ambassador of Maldives for Sri Lanka Mohamed Hussain Shareef has stated Maldives has always been a great accomplice of Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka have conducted various projects and programmes to strengthen the relationship between the two countries, Ambassador Mohamed Hussain Shareef noted speaking at the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka. While sharing information with the business corporates of Sri Lanka about the business relationships between the two countries, Ambassador Shareef said President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has opened various business opportunities and well-known companies from Sri Lanka are investing and participating in the infrastructure development projects in Maldives.
Maldives and Sri Lanka share a time tested neighbourly relationship.
