Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure has extended the deadline to submit applications for social housing flats to provide opportunity to as many individuals as possible. The forms will be accepted until August 31, Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr. Mohamed Muizzu stated in a press conference.
Noting that over 4,767 forms have been submitted, Housing Minister Muizzu highlighted the support received from the public. Furthermore, the minister noted that works are underway to select tenants for the flats. Revealing information about the progress of the construction process, Minister Muizzu affirmed the works will be completed in a near future as the project is progressing at a fast pace.
Housing ministry commenced collecting applications for the social housing units on May 6.
