Department of Higher Education (DHE) has begun handing out letters to students who have qualified for educational loans provided by the government. DHE revealed over 500 students applied for the loan scheme offered by the government.
Moreover, the government has decided to provide loans to all the students who are eligible, according to DHE. In this regard, loans will be provided for students who wishes to pursue higher studies on flight training, nursing, teaching and medicine.
The government of Maldives has been conducting several financial programmes to provide opportunities for students who want to pursue higher studies.
