Government marks completion of land reclamation project of Muli

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has attended the ceremony held to mark the completion of land reclamation project in Muli of Meemu Atoll.
During the ceremony, President Abdulla Yameen unveiled the monument placed to mark the completion of the project. The USD 6.4 million project, funded by the government, was contracted to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC). A land area of 40 hectares was reclaimed as part of the project.
The President is currently on a two-day visit to some of the islands of Meemu Atoll.
