Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has commenced a door-to-door campaign, as the running mate of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom. The official launching of the door-to-door campaign of Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) was attended by cabinet ministers, parliamentarians and other officials of the party.
Speaking at the function, Dr. Shaheem stated he will be practically participating in the door-to-door campaign and assured to personally visit as many households as possible. PPM is capable of addressing the issues of residents and expressed hope to win the presidential election, according to party officials.
Meanwhile, cabinet ministers and parliamentarians noted support received by PPM has boosted with the appointment of Dr. Shaheem as the running mate.
