Nominated running mate Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has expressed President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom deserves not only a second term, but a term of 30 years to continue his service to the country.
President Yameen not only brought development to Greater Male' area, but rather the whole country, stated Dr. Mohamed Shaheem stated addressing the ceremony held to meet the people of Huvadhoo Atoll. Furthermore, noting that President Yameen made several efforts to enhance the Islamic religion in Maldives, Dr. Shaheem said the president must be kept in power for another 30 years to further enhance the established Islamic principles and discipline.
Slamming rumours of opposition saying President Yameen will disregard the running mate once elected to a second term; Dr. Shaheem expressed confidence the president will not isolate him. Moreover, Dr. Shaheem stated the support for President Yameen cannot be ignored. Dr. Shaheem has begun actively participating in campaigns and other political related activities.
