Nominated running mate of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has received a warm welcome from the citizens of Villingili in Gaafu Alifu Atoll. In his visit to the island, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem was accompanied by Minister of Home Affairs Azleen Ahmed, parliamentarians Jameel Usmaan and Ahmed Assad.
During the visit, Dr. Shaheem visited households, inquired about the situation and listened to the needs of the people.
Speaking to PSM News regarding the visit of Dr. Shaheem, parliamentarian Ahmed Assad stated the running mate representing the ruling party will visit all the households of the island, listen to the needs and work to solve or ease their situation.
Dr. Shaheem will visit all the inhabited islands, as part of his current visit to Gaafu Alifu Atoll.
