Running mate of incumbent President, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has expressed there will always be matters to improve in every government, adding judicial coups against the constitution is not solving the issues, but rather undermining the peace and security of the country.
The opposition pressuring the government with the assistance of foreign countries results in spreading of chaos in the country, running mate of the ruling progressive party of Maldives, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem stated addressing the citizens of the Kolamaafushi of Gaafu Alifu Atoll. Speaking about the European Union, Dr. Shaheem expressed the percentage of share of European countries in the development of Maldives is relatively low compared to Arab countries, adding those countries are still in support of the development of Maldives.
During his speech in the island, Shaheem highlighted the development brought by the current government to Maldives from 2013 onwards.
