Speaking at the first session of the Distinguished Speaker Series of 2018, held by the Foreign Service Institute of Maldives (FOSIM), Non-Resident Ambassador of Maldives to Singapore Hamdun Abdulla Hameed shared his experience and lessons learnt from his long career of service, especially in the areas of national planning.
Ambassador Hamdun outlined the importance of planning ahead and being flexible at the same time. He also highlighted the importance of being useful and learning to make full use of opportunities. Ambassador Hamdun’s lecture outlined the history of planning in the Maldives, and how the sector has evolved over time.
