100 housing units in Dhidhdhoo Island open for tenants

Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has revealed 100 housing units developed in Dhidhdhoo of Haa Alifu Atoll will be leased soon.
There are 100 housing units in Dhidhdhoo which have not been leased, Housing Minister Mohamed Muizzu stated speaking at a press conference adding opportunity has been opened to submit applications until September 10. Minister Muizzu noted the youth community in the island have been looking forward for a solution for the housing issues faced and expressed hope the housing units will bring an ease to the difficulties faced due to lack of living space.
As part of its social housing project, the government has developed 250 housing units in Dhidhdhoo. The government had previously opened opportunity to apply for 140 housing units, available for an advance payment of about USD 1,200 and a monthly payment of about USD 162 to be paid for a period of 20 years.
