HDC signs agreement for development of a mosque in phase II

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has signed an agreement with a private party for the development and handover of a mosque in Hulhumale phase two. The agreement was signed by Director of Legal Affairs of HDC Dr. Fathimath Shiuny and philanthropist Saud Yoosuf.
The mosque is expected to accommodate 650 people at a time, According to HDC. With the agreement that was signed, HDC has now contracted parties for the development of two mosques in phase two. Hulhumale currently has 7 mosques in phase one, out of which 4 have been developed and opened under the administration of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.
The mosques are developed in a way that each neighborhood has at least one mosque to accommodate the population living in the neighborhood.
