Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohamed Asim has sent a message of felicitations to Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica Kamina Johnson Smith on the jubilant occasion of the 56th Independence Day of Jamaica.
In his message, Minister Asim conveyed warm greetings and sincere good wishes of the government and the people of Maldives to the government and the people of Jamaica as the government and the people of Jamaica commemorate their Independence Day.
Further, the minister assured Maldives will continue to collaborate with Jamaica on issues of mutual importance, including, climate change and sustainable development. He extended his personal best wishes for good health and well-being of Kamina Johnson Smith and expressed hope for further progress of the people of Jamaica.
