President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has arrived back in the capital Male' City, on conclusion of his three-day visit to some islands of Gaafu Alifu Atoll and Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll.
During his visit, President Abdulla Yameen inaugurated the harbour and attended the ceremony to mark the completion of the beach protection project in Madaveli and Faresmaathoda. The president also initiated the land reclamation for construction of Faresmaathoda airport.
Furthermore, President Yameen also took part in the ceremony to mark the completion of the beach protection project, inauguration of the harbour, initiation of sewerage service system and inauguration of the housing project in Gaddhoo.
Moreover, President Yameen inaugurated the harbour in Kondey, initiated the sewerage services system, inaugurated clean water services in Kolamaafushi, marked the completion of the road development project and inaugurated the housing project in Villingili. He also inaugurated Fishermen's Marina in Kooddoo.
President Yameen addressed citizens of all the islands he visited. During the gatherings, he spoke about some of the plans for the next presidential term and reiterated the administration works to ensure justice for all and that all are equal under the law.
