Minister of Foreign of Maldives Dr. Mohamed Asim has sent a message of greetings to Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Abdullah Hussain Haroon, on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Independence of Pakistan.
In his message, Foreign Minister Asim extended warm felicitations and sincere good wishes to his Pakistani counterpart, the government and the brotherly people of Pakistan, on behalf of the government and the people of Maldives. The foreign minister also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the government of Pakistan for its continued assistance for the development of the Maldives.
Minister Asim said he remains confident Maldives and Pakistan will continue to cooperate in advancing interests of mutual concern, bilaterally, regionally and internationally. On conclusion, the foreign minister wished for continued peace, progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
