Opportunity opened to apply as representatives of presidential candidates

Elections Commission of Maldives has opened opportunity to apply as representatives of presidential candidates at polling stations. The opportunity to apply for candidate representatives will be open until August 26, according to elections commission.
Elections Commission has noted six requirements to act as representatives. In this regard, a representative must be a Maldivian, must be 18 years of age or above and must not be completing a sentence. Moreover, a representative of a presidential candidate must not be an official from elections commission, a judge, a lawyer or a member of an independent institution or someone from the military force.
