Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has revealed tarring the ring road, under development in Male' City, will be completed by the end of the month.
Speaking with PSM News, Housing Minister Muizzu expressed the ring road development project is conducted non-stop, noting the government is determined to complete the project according to the schedule. Noting the tarring of the road is in progress, the housing minister said road signs and road lights will be placed as the last phase of the project.
As part of the ring road development project, the government is developing the road network leading up to Sinamale' Bridge, which stretches from Hulhumale' ferry terminal to Male' industrial village. Male' Ring Road is developed with four lanes, mirroring the lanes of Sinamale' Bridge, and the government expects to solve the traffic overflow upon completion of the project.
