Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure has contracted harbour development project of three islands.
In this regard, the housing ministry contracted the construction of outer sea wall of the harbour developed in Naalaafushi in Meemu Atoll and the second phase of the harbour construction in Keyodhoo in Vaavu Atoll to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC). Meanwhile, the jetty construction in Fulidhoo in Vaavu atoll was contracted to Ina Trading Company Limited.
The total cost of the projects round up to USD 2.4 million and must be completed in 3 months.
